Founded in 2010 by award-winning writer/director Tony E. Valenzuela, BlackBoxTV™ is the longest-running horror channel on the platform and a pioneer in immersive storytelling. Known for blending cinematic horror with emerging tech, Tony has redefined how audiences experience fear. In 2012, Tony partnered with YouTube Originals to launch a slate of genre-bending series, including a collaboration with C.S.I. creator Anthony E. Zuiker. He went on to create and showrun Fight of the Living Dead, YouTube’s first zombie survival reality show, and directed The Axe Murders of Villisca, a horror feature distributed by IFC Films and later acquired by Netflix. His second feature film was recently completed. Tony has collaborated with some of the most respected names in entertainment, including Guillermo del Toro, Jon Turteltaub, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros, CBS, Fox Studios, The Los Angeles Times, Ron Howard & Brian Grazer’s New Form Digital, and Dan Trachtenberg. James Cameron, Wes Craven, Stan Lee, and many other legendary figures have also appeared on BlackBoxTV.
