At Blade Labs, we specialize in agentic GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) automation. Our platform, ZeroH, streamlines compliance processes by automating regulatory obligations into actionable workflows. Our initial focus on Islamic finance stems from the sector's stringent compliance requirements. By addressing these complexities, we position ourselves to apply our solutions across various industries. Challenges in Islamic finance include cumbersome regulations and inefficiencies from a limited number of Shariah lawyers serving multiple clients, resulting in delays and compliance risks. ZeroH leverages AI to automate compliance workflows, aiming to reduce timelines significantly while creating blockchain-verified audit trails for enhanced transparency. We are proud to have received accolades such as the Grand Prize at Finopitch Tokyo 2025 and recognition as Best Startup at the Islamic Fintech Awards 2025. Our partnership with Al Rayan Bank is currently in the validation phase, and we are a member of the QFC Digital Asset Lab, recognized as a QDB Portfolio Company. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our certifications, which include SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001:2022, and GDPR compliance. We also hold a Fatwa approval from Amanie Advisors and a QFC License (#02389). Blade Labs was founded by Sami Mian, who brings over 20 years of experience from Citi and Deutsche Bank, where he previously served as Head of APAC for Hedera. Looking ahead, we are initiating a Q1 2026 pilot for impact financing with a development bank, along with a project focused on cattle fattening in Bangladesh. These efforts reflect our dedication to practical applications of our technology.
