Personally Tailored is how we run the business, not just how we fit a jacket. Blazer is an independent menswear shop in Oakville, Canada, family owned since 1988. The vision is to prove that a small, product led store can grow in a world built for volume, debt, and constant promotion, without drifting into disposable fashion or disposable relationships. We keep the circle tight. A focused mix of brands. Careful buying. Real margins. Slow, deliberate changes to the way we present the store, speak about product, and train the next generation to run it. Most of the work is invisible from the outside, sitting in fittings, inventory decisions, and long conversations with suppliers and clients. Personally Tailored, as an operating idea, means building a business that fits its customers, its staff, and its community as well as its garments fit the person wearing them. Over the next few years, we will be testing how far a boutique can scale, how much can be systemized without losing feel, and what a healthy independent retailer looks like in practice.
