Founded by Bruno Duflos and Thierry Lelann, ATELIER BLEU DE COCAGNE was born in Toulouse-France in 2015. This is where the unique WOAD BLUE was elaborated during the Middle Age; when europeans did not know yet about the Indigo from India. It is this color that is at the heart of the creative process. It gives a unique vibration and brings out the richness of the natural fabrics. The MINIMALIST and rather UNISEX design is inspired by Utility Clothing with influence from Europe and Asia. The overall philosophy is "SLOW FASHION" and "SUSTAINABLE". The Woad is cultivated in FRANCE. The majority of the clothing is HAND DYED by the french ARTISAN producing the pigment. The manufacturing takes place in Europe. ATELIER BLEU DE COCAGNE is distributed through its Eshop and its Boutique located in the fashion district of LE MARAIS in PARIS. The brand can also be found at a few selective retailers in Japan, USA, Canada.
