About the Brand Founded in November 2016, BLIKVANGER is a female-owned Georgian brand based in Tbilisi. We create timeless silhouettes with intricate details, focusing on freedom of expression and sustainability by minimizing production waste- Practice All Blikvanger pieces are handmade, particularly the knits, with a focus on time-intensive, couture-like craftsmanship. We avoid excess stock by offering two main collections and capsule lines, adhering to a Made To Order principle. Leftover materials are reused, and our transformable designs, like our iconic jackets, highlight functionality and versatility- Participations Since 2017, Blikvanger has been featured at major events like Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, MBFW Tbilisi, and Fashion Week Poland. Collaborations, such as with Zaffori, have further showcased our full design and production capabilities- Celebrities/Press Our designs have been worn by stars like Billy Porter, Alicia Silverstone, and Bella Thorne, and featured in top magazines including Vogue, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Forbes.
