At BLISS, we empower women through business and traditional craft & designs to end extreme poverty and gender-based violence. We are passionate about creating opportunities through business as a means of empowerment for these women, which further reduces gender-based violence, and thus help improve lives. THE WHY BEHIND THE BRAND BLISS is an offshoot of the Fashion for Empowerment Project, a nonprofit campaign initiative by a 501c3 organization, VFE International to fight social exclusion of women survivors of gender-based violence and to promote women’s economic empowerment. The campaign originated to facilitate collaboration between women survivors and interested stakeholders from the fashion industry through programs related to entrepreneurial education, vocational trainings, life skills development & related empowerment opportunities. Thus, the Fashion for Empowerment Project creates choice, increases dignity and prompts new beginnings for these women survivors. UNIQUE. ETERNAL.
