bliuHarp Media is committed to helping people become more media literate individuals. We are dedicated to promoting media literacy and helping people become smart media consumers. Media literacy is about learning to read the messages presented through television, movies, magazines and newspapers, advertisements, video games, music and the Internet. We teach people the critical thinking skills that are necessary for understanding the complex messages presented by the media. Our mission is to give the public the tools to help them make a difference in their lives and the world around them. Our programs are based upon the thirteen best practices principles and constructivist learning theory.
