blk canvas exist to support and nurture the creative community in the DMV. Our mission is to be a conduit for expression through arts, provide a space for creators, and make the arts accessible to everyone, in particular, people of color. A vibrant, multi use venue offering over square-feet of indoor/outdoor space. Sitting on 3 private acres, we offer 3 unique studios that can transform to an art gallery, workshop, staff retreat, expo center, pop-up shop, etc. The 3 studio spaces, 2 outdoor patios, kitchen, and 1 acre of beautiful grass are infinitely configurable to accommodate any project. The only limit to what you can create here is your imagination.
