Bloc Design Studio

Bloc Design Studio is an architecture firm based in Namibia and South Africa. We offer a determined and creative “no-compromise-on-quality-policy” which is established at first encounters, echoes through our design development and settles itself in the creation of space and detail. It is our belief that design should enhance the quality of life, from an urban scale right through to the details of product design. Design should embrace its users and enrich its context. Block Design Studio thrives to create architecture that can be absorbed and experienced rather than merely lived in while aiming to deliver design that excites, inspires, accommodates and comforts. This is achieved through close collaboration with the client and a thorough investigation of the applicable context. Although architecture is our speciality, we also design within the realms of product design, landscaping and urban space. Through broadening our design scope, we wish to solidify our policy that good design should be enjoyed by all, and not just by the elite few.
