Blockchain At Hku

Blockchain at HKU is the first university blockchain club in Hong Kong.We specialize in educating the community by researching different use cases of blockchain technology, facilitating innovative projects and discussion, providing industry experience to members, building out prototypes, and integrating solutions regarding uses of blockchain. We seeks to provide forums where blockchain-related ideas, projects, programs, events, and businesses can be studied, discussed, and developed. Through club activities, we seek to increase awareness and use of blockchain within and beyond the HKU community. Goals: 1. Education: Educate students about blockchain technology, from its basic concepts, to technical and more advanced applications in different industries including but not limited to financial industries. Career: Engage students with industry practitioners regularly to provide them with opportunities to join in the blockchain and related industries 3. Advocacy: Encourage innovative ideas and start-ups in the blockchain field at HKU 4. Community: Build a welcoming community where everyone can interact and learn freely
