Bloom Media at Borders Book Festival has recruited a group of passionate young people from the Scottish Borders and is providing them with the opportunity to gain practical experience in media production, storytelling, and content creation. As part of a dynamic team, and working alongside industry professionals, the trainees will add their touch to one of Scotland’s leading festivals as part of an inclusive and supportive team where they’re encouraged to explore their interests and meet their potential. As part of the programme trainees will attend a series of specialist workshops. They will then be on-site during the Borders Book Festival creating content and putting their new skills to the test. The young people will also gain the chance to learn from top broadcasters including Sally Magnusson, Stephen Jardine and James Naughtie.
