Schoolyard, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is the unique, effective, hands-on and educator approved gardening program that not only meets core standards, but it is also a proven effortless way to teach kids how to grow and enjoy vegetables. Our turnkey, mobile garden kit has everything a class needs to grow a crop of vegetables while requiring minimal space and virtually no upkeep. Online Bloomers! Island is an exciting online environment where kids learn how to plant and grow a seed, can go on a special quest, read stories, win games, win badges, grow a treehouse and get points for going outside to botanical gardens and arboretums. Our cast of Bloomers! character’s help facilitate their real-life learning experiences through avatar role playing. Our virtual game world reinforces the hands-on learning done in the schoolyard and backyard garden within an online playground.
