Bloomfield Health Services is an independent not-for-profit healthcare provider located at the foot of the Dublin mountains at Stocking Lane in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. It commenced its service provision in 1812. In 2005 it moved to its current location which provides a state of the art environment for the care and treatment of its patients and residents.It is committed to being the leader in the provision of services of care and treatment.Bloomfield Hospital provides services to older adults with Acute, Serious and Enduring Mental Health disorders, complex Mental Health issues associated with Neuropsychiatric Disorders and Dementia. New Lodge Nursing Home Care provides treatment and care to frail older adults. Bloomfield Health Services is currently planning the development of its mental health service to provide both Acute and Day Services and is committed to providing teaching and research. Bloomfield Health Services continually develops its leadership role in innovative and effective treatment programmes for its patients and residents. Referrals for all its services are accepted nationally. The ability of Bloomfield Health Services to innovate and deliver on the promise of best practice is made possible through the team of highly trained,dedicated and committed professionals within the disciplines of medical, nursing, clinical and support services. Bloomfield Health Services is owned by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and is based on their ethos and principles.
