Blue Beanie Projects are committed to reducing youth suicide and improving the social and emotional wellbeing of young people in regional and remote Australian communities through its programs and services by providing culturally appropriate support to young people and youth service providers. We are committed to community consultation and collaboration, and our projects and services are directed by the communities in which we work. Working collaboratively every step of the way with young people, families, community leaders, elders and service providers will ensure the best possible outcomes can be achieved. We work with youth service providers to develop and strengthen regional Youth Services, through policies and procedures, case management and support planning processes, service documentation, referral processes, funding applications, networking and collaboration, service reviews and program development. We can also help to identify and implement early intervention and support strategies, effective youth engagement strategies and staff training and development opportunities. We have qualified, experienced and passionate staff who have extensive lived and professional experience working in regional and remote areas. We work with young people to create and deliver innovative and dynamic youth led projects. We provide the opportunity for young people to be coached and mentored, while developing life skills, increasing their self esteem and resilience, strengthening their connection to community and supporting them to become strong leaders.
