Blue Circle Agency

The Blue Circle literary agency was founded in 2019 in Tehran; by a team of young, perceptive, energetic and motivated persons with clear goals ahead. The agency looks out for creative solutions to make significant, yet less noticed literary contents be seen. The aim of the team is to open access to Iranian literary content and offer it creatively to its advocates. It wants to overcome the geographical and linguistic borders and introduce the less known Iranian writers and illustrators to other countries with different languages. The Blue Circle has focused on children’s literature at its first step. The agency’s experts have chosen more than 300 titles from about 70 publishers, after scrutinizing a great number of the works produced in this category. Although the agency is newly founded, the members of the team have the background of participating in international fairs such as: • 2015 Moscow International Book Fair • 2016 Frankfurt Book Fair • 2017 Bologna Children's Book Fair • 2017 Frankfurt Book Fair The agency is ready to collaborate with publishers on: • purchasing and selling the book licenses for publication • accepting print orders • illustration projects • appropriate content production for publishers and writers
