Blue & Gold Ventures

Blue & Gold Ventures is an independent non-profit that offers unique student-run business programming opportunities to students campus-wide at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Though independent, Blue & Gold Ventures works in close partnership with Marquette University and is governed by a board of directors with over 130 years of combined professional corporate and non-profit leadership experience. Our mission is to provide students with paid, hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that enhance business leadership, team management, and entrepreneurial innovation skills in a way consistent with the Jesuit mission yet goes beyond traditional academic boundaries. In addition to providing all Marquette University students with business leadership and experiential learning opportunities, the program prioritizes community engagement activities that help students engage the greater Milwaukee area and with Marquette University alums. Based on a model used at dozens of top universities across the country, active student-run business teams and alum are members of an elite group of innovators, founders, and interdisciplinary leaders.
