Blue Resources Trust Brt

Blue Resources Trust is a marine research and consultancy organisation based in Sri Lanka that aims to promote informed science based decision making to facilitate the sustainable use of marine resources. Our research focuses include coral reefs, elasmobranch fisheries, and seagrass. BRT also acts as a platform to encourage both local and international scientists and students to conduct more marine research in Sri Lanka. In addition to our capacity building, we use all our research data to directly support the development of policy to improve management of marine resources and support the implementation of existing legislation.
