Blue Squid Learning

At Blue Squid Learning, we help young people who’ve found school overwhelming, confusing, or simply too much. Our learners are bright, curious individuals who need time, space, and understanding to rebuild confidence in themselves and in learning. Based in Cambridgeshire, we support families locally through our part-time learning provision and reach parents nationwide through our Parents Navigating School Anxiety community. We also advise schools on how to better understand and respond to emotionally based school avoidance. Our focus is simple- Helping each learner feel safe attending- Building strong, trusting relationships- Supporting them to discover how they learn best. Once they’re ready, we help them re-engage with learning, start catching up on missed progress, and work towards qualifications in a way that feels achievable and meaningful. Some of our learners move back into school; others stay with us longer. What matters most is that they attend, connect, and learn to love learning again.
