Bluebenu

BlueBenu is a danish startup company developing a technology that allows the recycling of mixed plastic waste that currently cannot be recycled. Our focus is on the transformation of plastic pollution rescued from the oceans and nature into crude-oil for producing sustainable petrochemicals and new products, without making use of fossil resources. By this, we envision waste as a prime matter that can be reintegrated in the system in a circular economy. In this way, we approach waste management as a way to create socio-economic value and foster sustainability- The startup was born in April 2018 and has 4 cofounders: Kamila Kunrath, Sarah Lasso, Albert Kravos and Karl Hauxhausen. It was approved by Start-Up Denmark in June 2018.
