Bluefield Houseboats

Bluefield Houseboats is pioneering the design and manufacture of luxury floating homes and commercial spaces that deliver the same high standard of living and working on water as on land—no compromises. Based in Northern Ireland, we are a young, innovative, and multi-award-winning company, with all design and manufacturing completed in-house. As the global population grows and environmental concerns intensify, there’s an urgent need to re-think how and where we build. At Bluefield, we use advanced construction technologies to create sustainable, adaptable houseboats that address housing needs while reducing environmental impact. Our homes are resource-efficient, eco-friendly, and built for a greener future. With rising climate change risks and increased flooding, it’s time to look to “bluefield” sites—underused waterfront and riverside areas—as a smart, sustainable alternative. Our solutions lightly touch these environments, requiring minimal permanent infrastructure, while unlocking their potential for both residential and commercial development. Bluefield Houseboats offers innovative, future-ready living—on water, without the compromise.
