Flying Seafood was founded in 2003 by Mr. Jens Peter Klausen as an offset off J.P. Klausen & Co. The idea was to distribute high quality seafood to markets around the world. After a couple of years the UK office was created with Mr. Don Cassell as the MD. Don has many years of trading with tuna behind him and his knowledge of the trade and name in the business took Flying Seafood to the first level of international trade. The next move was to establish a trading platform outside the EU and for this Mr. Saby Dutta in corporation with the Flying Seafood Group established first Seafood Middleeast in a Dubai freezone and recently FSG Dubai which is a local Dubai company. Today Flying Seafood has sales in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Our local offices specialize in distributing in their geographic areas. In Scandinavia we distribute our top products direct to restaurants and in Denmark we have even opened a small Sushi restaurants to give us the full understanding of the distribution line. Flying Seafood is always looking for new partners and areas of expansion and the group has a dedicated team which sole purpose is to develop the group activities.
