Expertise Our issue expertise is in land use, urban design, facility and infrastructure design, environmental policy, and strategic planning within and between organizations and government. Outcomes We assisted Kaiser Permanente to engage the community in the successful design of its new $300 million hospital in Oakland, California, which the planning commission approved unanimously. We helped achieve unanimous approval for a 36-unit Habitat for Humanity development in the City of Redwood City, California. We worked with a regional planning NGO in Budapest to convene a multi-stakeholder planning council for the River Danube in Hungary, as part of an EU-sponsored 10-nation planning process. People Peter Bluhon, a planner and mediator, founded the firm to integrate design-thinking with advanced negotiation methods and urban and environmental planning.
