Blumen is working to redesign how companies approach their employees' mental health. Too often, companies adopt an individualistic approach, offering only individual sessions with psychologists or coaches to their employees. However, 94% of employees under stress report that the psychological work environment is a significant source of their stress. But when employers arrange for their employees to see a psychologist or similar professional through their insurance, they gain no insights into how the psychological work environment might be improved. Furthermore, this approach risks signaling to the employee that the issue is an individual problem, rather than a collective one. Our vision is to create the world’s best workplaces through data-driven interventions that not only support individual employees but also provide insights for companies on improving leadership and the psychological work environment.
