BMS Controls and Energy are based in the Midlands with a group of engineers covering maintenance, installation and service calls across the UK. We have an enthusiastic approach, and a vast amount of experience in both small and large buildings. We have worked in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors and also in home automation. Our engineers not only have experience in controls but have previously worked as mechanical and electrical engineers. This serves to give them a deeper understanding of the buildings in which they work, and strengthens their ability to select the right products, and then write the correct software to maximise comfort and energy savings for you and the workspace. We work with Trend, Delta, Distech and KNX amongst others. BMS stands for Building Management System. With the current emphasis on energy saving this is often known as BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems). This is an automatic control system that works behind the scenes in a building to not only give the required conditions for the occupants, but to do so in the most energy frugal way. The system controls or interfaces with aspects of the building that affect the comfort or safety of the occupants, or the energy usage.
