De flessen zijn zowel geschikt voor warme als koolzuurhoudende dranken. Het doel van de Bo-Bottle is om hervulbare en single-use plastic drinkflessen te vervangen. Hierin wordt Bo-Bottles gesteund door de Plastic Soup Foundation waarvan Bo-Bottles Business Angel is. Deze stichting zet zich in voor het reduceren van plastic afval wereldwijd.
