BoardMaps is a unique and essential tool for driving board and executive meetings, as well as operational and project team meetings. It focuses on 4 key concepts: Matters, Meetings, Decisions and Action Items: • Managers create Matters to organize and securely share information related to issues. • They set up Meetings where Decisions are documented through active discussion in person or remotely or via written consents (and this is preserved for future references). • Resulting Action Items are then assigned owners so that the team can monitor the status of implemented and pending actions, leading to no stagnation or negative progress in between meetings. While there are other board and meeting portals available, most of these are document repositories that do not support and track outcomes. BoardMaps bridges a crucial gap between document systems and project software because it guides resolutions of Matters and Decisions through follow-on Action items. BoardMaps allows Boards, Committees, executive and project teams to significantly improve accountability by ensuring that imperatives and objectives, which are discussed and decided upon during meetings, are completed.
