Boardroom Development helps individual leaders, teams and organisations to change, develop and grow. We provide a professional consulting, facilitation and coaching service to business and community leaders who wish to set a positive tone for their organisations, improve the quality of their service and enhance their performance. Tolstoy once said:" Everyone thinks of changing the world but no one thinks of changing himself" Everyone in an organisation has a part to play in that organisation being the way it is. We all have an impact on the people around about us, either positive or negative. This is especially true of those in a leadership role. That’s why we think it is important for the people leading the organisation; the Board and the Executive Team as well as leaders at all levels, to be aware of their own default behaviours and to model the behaviours and culture they want to see in the organisation. We are very interested in the connection between individual beliefs and behaviours, and the successful implementation of strategy. Most work in organisations is done through face-to-face conversations. Our personal interactions are the key to success. We help our clients understand and make changes in their own behaviours, interactions and communications. In the process of our work, we develop the capability of the people involved, so that they are increasingly able to work on the change and development of their services without the assistance of external consultants. Based in Edinburgh and operating internationally, we have been working with corporate and public sector clients since 1993; addressing issues of strategy, personal development and organisational change.
