The Virtual Racing Chassis is designed to simulate my driving position in racecar's I drove for 25 years. I tried all of the racing game seats on the market using common GT seats and found they might work great in a car but not sitting still playing a game. They felt like sitting in, well. a chair. Most were too upright and firm, like you are sitting on the seat instead of in it. Every Race Car I ever drove from Formula, Prototype to Trans-Am or GT the driver is reclined and as low as possible to get a low center of Gravity. The VRC puts you in this realistic seating position for the perfect race simulator seat. Remembering that every time I was hired to drive a new race car the first thing we did was make a seat for me, why not make a racing game cockpit to fit almost everyone? With Huffaker Engineering I decided to design my own Sim Pod and the resulting VRC is very comfortable, realistic, with the wheel and pedals where they belong. It might not have the "wow" factor when you see it but I guarantee it has the "Oh Yeah" factor as you use it.
