Stress and trauma are at an all-time high. It’s so easy to get stuck in a cycle of stress, that it’s vital to have a way to move through it. Imogen Ragone developed BodyIntelligence to help people, especially women, who are stressed, anxious and even in pain, let go of tension and learn how to navigate the ups and downs of life with more peace and ease. This approach offers a simple, mindful, and effective way to get unstuck, without the need to rehash old experiences. BodyIntelligence is founded in the principles of the Alexander Technique, a 120-year-old evidence-based mind-body method for using our whole selves consciously, efficiently, with freedom, grace, and poise. BodyIntelligence is a unique approach which integrates mindfulness, body awareness and self-care, to give her clients practical and empowering strategies to relieve and prevent stress and tension, so they can achieve their goals and feel great! Imogen Ragone is the owner and creator of BodyInelligence. She has been a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique for 15 years, and a student for over 20 years. She initially came to Alexander Technique to help her with chronic neck and shoulder pain and tension. It did – and gave her MUCH more than she ever imagined. Her method offers her clients a path to embodied mindfulness that is gentle and non-coercive. This means it is more accessible and effective when you are feeling stressed and makes it especially valuable to traumatized people. BodyIntelligence sessions and programs are typically conducted online using Zoom video conferencing. Imogen has been successfully working with clients online, both individually and in groups, since 2014, and her clients find the online sessions to be especially helpful and empowering.
