Bong Sen Centre For Community Development

Bong Sen (i.e. “Lotus”) is a Vietnamese non-governmental organisation for training and social development. We were established in 2016 and were registered by the Hau Giang Union of Scientific and Training Association in June 2017. Our mission: To ensure basic education, drive economic empowerment, and social equality for women and girls in Vietnam Our vision: Economic and basic education and the protection of human rights empowers women and girls in Vietnam Our Values: Local people: We believe local people have a greater motivation to inspire change in their community than do outsiders. Respects and encouragements: We respect each other and all surrounding people, we encourage women and girls to gain self-respect. Sustainability: We ensure that women and girls in Vietnam pursue economically independent lives that are sustainable. Their abilities and confidences shall grow and eventually they will say “We can do it ourselves”
