Wood burning stoves have been at the heart of our family since 1976 when 'Papa' William Dolby (affectionately nicknamed Billy Bonk by his Uncle) started selling stoves from his family garage on the Black Isle, just outside Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. Over the past 4 decades, we have seen many changes in our industry, mainly down to increase in demand for wood burning appliances through the need for many homes to become more eco-friendly and self-sufficient. In this this time however, we have strived to keep hold of our family values in every aspect of the business and we always make every effort to treat everyone connected with Bonk & Co as a member of our family. We believe it is important to be the best, not the biggest.
