Bonnie Curtis Projects is Australia's daring and innovative independent dance company. Led by its founder and Artistic Director Bonnie Curtis, we create innovative, genre-defying and thought-provoking works. We use a unique blend of dance, theatre, comedy and performance arts to explore challenging elements of our human existence. Bonnie Curtis Projects has toured both nationally and internationally, with our award-winning debut work GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS. We tackle tough topics such as social norms and etiquette, sexism, violence against women, body image, celebrity culture, mental health, and gender, to name a few. Our artistic vision is to push boundaries and encourage our audiences to question their views on humanity. Our works explore the raw emotions, experiences and thoughts that have formed our modern society. We believe dance is something everyone can enjoy and believe in sharing our knowledge and love for dance with as many people as possible. We facilitate company run dance classes and workshops in both Australia and overseas.
