BONTEMPS was born from the desire to create high quality, novel clothes that enliven the wardrobe. Our obsession with technicalities of design and apparel-making combined with a fixation on striking colors and prints has led to what we hope you consider a gratifying respite from neutral, lifeless, mass-market fashion. We formally welcome you to the world of BONTEMPS and hope you delight in it as much as we do. As a brand we create pieces inspired by a variety of sources; Deco and Bauhaus design, Scandinavian/ Dutch modernist design, vintage American fashion, modern art, and tropical, aquatic, and desert landscapes among them.
