Book & Black was founded in 2010 based on the philosophy of providing flexible and resilient interactive systems and software. The company embodies over two decades of combined experience in designing and developing interactive multimedia systems for museums and cultural institutions, flexible software solutions for enterprise, and mobile apps for both enterprise and public use. Book & Black has created and installed interactive exhibits for a number of cultural institutions including: Healesville Sanctuary, Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks, Immigration Museum, and Shrine of Remembrance. Book & Black’s directors have extensive experience in concept design, technical development, remote and on-site support, and on-site commissioning of interactive multimedia systems in cultural institutions in Australia, the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Kuwait. We also design, develop, install, and support flexible software and mobile solutions for enterprise, government and standalone users. Our mobile tablet and cloud based server systems are used by employees in the field to capture data in strictly regulated industries.
