Books & Magic is a young and ambitious company that intends to set the future standard for Augmented Reality books. We deliver quality reading experiences that inspire children to read. Our professionals include some of the most experienced 3D artists, architects, developers, UX specialists and 3D artists in the business. In the past, they’ve brought their unique skills to brands like LEGO and IO Interactive’s Hitman 47 series. Our first book is the original fairy tale of "The Little Mermaid" by the Danish author, Hans Christian Andersen. Using the app, readers can discover the text in a whole new way by finding a rich and inspiring world of activities hidden in the classic fairy tale. Through interaction between pages and pixels, Books & Magic combines the traditional reading experience (paper, inc, spine) with new app technology in augmented reality games, the combination of which creates the magical reading experience. Through the beautifully crafted illustrations in the physical book, the AR-technology facilitates exploration and interaction with the text through funny and challenging mobile games related to the plot of the story. This ignites the imagination, inspires children to read and speaks directly to the heart of any literary curious-creative mindset, because you can explore and engage with the literary universe - interact, play and learn!
