Boots On Deck Inc. helps provide a military friendly environment for military affiliated students so that advocating and establishing an effective veteran support service results in our clients positive transition from military life on a social, academic, and moral level. By socially investing in our clients support there will be a lower chance that those that defended our nation would end up in financial hardship and face near homelessness. By directing connecting with our military affiliated students the pride that most of them have to get help will not hinder them from maximizing their potential for success. We will assist in lowering tuition cost, reduce textbook cost, guide them through their veteran’s benefits, and become their mentor. Our cause is to hold our clients by hand and improve their quality of life by any means necessary. The organization’s core activities involve traveling to colleges and universities where there is a presence of military affiliated students and advocating on their behalf regarding their unique issues. With approval from the college or university, we also create a military support system on their campus and connect our clients with local supporters. When it comes time for the school’s Veterans Club to do events, we support them with man power and materials as needed. We also provide our clients with scholarship opportunities and textbook assistance. Our organization will do textbook drive to help lower book cost, help with veterans benefits claim, assist in financial and housing assistance for military students, and create a military friendly environment on campus by promoting camaraderie among all campus students and staff members.
