Border Servant Corps

Border Servant Corps (BSC) is a humanitarian organization rooted in the U.S.–Mexico borderlands, serving with compassion, dignity, and accompaniment since 1997. Grounded in the belief that every person deserves safety and welcome, BSC responds to the realities of migration and displacement through direct service, education, and community collaboration. For more than two decades, BSC has provided humanitarian aid to people on the move, working alongside local communities, faith partners, government entities, and grassroots organizations to build systems of care that are humane, coordinated, and responsive. At the heart of BSC’s work is the practice of accompaniment—walking with individuals and communities, listening deeply, and honoring lived experience as a source of wisdom and leadership. In addition to humanitarian response, BSC facilitates immersion and learning experiences that invite participants to engage the borderlands with humility and openness. These experiences connect direct service with education, reflection, and relationship-building, fostering deeper understanding of migration, border policy, and shared responsibility. As the borderlands continue to evolve amid shifting policies and global displacement, BSC remains committed to adapting with integrity and courage. Through humanitarian aid, accompaniment-centered immersion, and collaborative partnerships, Border Servant Corps works to strengthen resilient communities and nurture a culture of welcome so that no one has to navigate their journey alone.
