Since our beginnings in 1953, we have dedicated our business to creating bespoke designs made from soft materials, leather and luxury fabrics, as well as extremely high-tech textiles. Our services range from one-off pieces to mass production in line with industrial standards. BORLIS boasts a very wide range of equipment for cutting, colouring, bonding, perforating, high frequency and ultrasound welding to meet the needs of the most demanding manufacturers, especially in the aeronautics, the car industry and the medical environment. From an exceptional finished product to the tiniest component, our leather goods and micro leather goods teams work with the biggest French and European luxury brands on a daily basis, who entrust us with producing their fashion accessories, jewellery and leather goods. As a specialist in leather trims and haberdashery and a founder member of the Réseau du Bellay, BORLIS is a certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company). Our company comprises 50 employees including 5 in the design office; each year we offer 6 to 8 apprenticeships on our Cholet site in the Maine-et-Loire region.
