BORN 2 B LIGHT offices are in Chicago, IL, and Lawrenceville, GA (near Atlanta), United States. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting nonviolence, self-accountability, and community change. We aim to create a more peaceful existence one pledge at a time. We aim to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources to meet their basic needs, resolve conflicts peacefully, and foster a culture of understanding and respect. Born 2 B Light aims to create a complete network of lifelines for needy families, helping them relieve the stresses related to poverty by highlighting the way out. Mental health plays a pivotal role in violence, suicide, and mass shootings. When we help reduce the knee-jerk, short-fuse stress reaction to lack, we reshape the mindset that causes violence in our community and inspire peaceful resolutions. Our organization aims to be one of the answers to the problem.
