Rikke Rosenlund founded BorrowMyDoggy in 2012 after taking care of a neighbour’s dog “Aston” for the day. She soon realised that dog owners could use a helping paw looking after their dog, and that there were thousands of people, just like her, who would like to take care of a dog, simply because they love dogs. BorrowMyDoggy is now the most active online communities of dog lovers, with over members throughout the UK and Ireland.
