Boryana Firedance

Boryana FireDance is a fire dancer, juggler and dancer from Hungary, who currently lives in Berlin. She has been dancing for more than 15 years, took part in several classes, courses, workshops and projects of contemporary dance and physical theatre. In 2011 she moved to Sofia, Bulgaria to take part in the work of Fire Theatre Mime Company in the framework of the European Voluntary Service (EVS), where she started to work with juggling, circus and fire techniques. After moving to Berlin she finished the SENECA Intensiv Tanzausbildung in DOCK11 in July 2016. She has created two solo performances (The (true) story of every single girl and Where are you?) mixing theatre, dance, text and circus and has been making fire shows at different events e.g. festivals, parties, street fests, Christmas markets or children events. She has been performing with the ambient music formation Audio Compress as a dancer since 2015.
