Bossekop Ul

Bossekop Ungdomslag is a Norwegian sports club from Bossekop, Alta, Finnmark. We have sections for association football, team handball, speed skating, Nordic skiing for youth and adults. The kids in BUL follow a year cycle, that starts in September with team handball followed by speedskating in januar, nordic skiing in march and Mai to September is it all about football. BUL was founded on 25 July 1912 as a youth association. A sports team within Bossekop UL (cf IL i BUL) was founded in 1958. The club practiced athletics from 1960, speed skating from 1961, football from 1967, handball from 1973, skiing since 1980 and biathlon since 1991. The club has now close to members, 1442 members are active in one of these sports. The club opend a brand new stadium in 2012 in the heart of Bossekop. BUL has now 2 stadiums, Nornett stadium (oldest stadium) is close to Bossekop school and is still used for practice and matches in summer time. From December to April we use the Nornett stadium for speedskating. The new stadium is used in winter time for Nordic skiing and summer time for football. Thru the years BUL has build many accomodations, one of them was "BUL hallen" in 1982. Our vision is the following: Recruit as many children from around Bossekop as possible. Give them a good accomodation and focus on activity, inclusion, fun in sports, sosialization and free for bullying.
