Bossington Hall

Bossington Hall, set in the heart of Porlock Vale, overlooks spectacular views of Exmoor and the Bristol Channel. A short walk brings you to the picturesque villages of Bossington, Allerford and Porlock. The famous South West Coast Path passes by at the beach below. Refurbished this year to a high standard, the house abounds with period charm, yet has the modern trappings you have come to expect, with 15 bedrooms with sumptuous king and superking sized beds and 14 bathrooms in total. 7 bedrooms feature zip-n-link beds allowing for flexible accommodation. The primary kitchen, with a large Smeg induction range cooker, is complemented by a secondary, separate kitchen (ideal for allergy sufferers or small children's meals). Seamless WiFi is available throughout the building. Upstairs the kids can be entertained on a wet afternoon with the large screen TV and PS4 games console. Downstairs is the pool table and table tennis room, with French doors leading to the veranda, ideal for a few beers and a barbecue. Next to the card games room is a second TV room with another large screen TV. Outside, the 6 acres includes a hard tennis court, a mill pond and the old squash court which is being refurbished into a charming mini cinema. The veranda is equipped with plentiful seating, and of course, a brick barbecue. For those requiring a bit more privacy, or even more space, we also have Gate Cottage on the estate, a self contained 3 bedroom cottage with a beautiful view from every window. Freshly refurbished, with 3 double bedrooms (one with twin beds, two with king size beds), the cosy cottage makes you feel pampered in a home away from home. Gate Cottage has a courtyard garden with overflowing pots of fresh herbs and a barbecue to take full advantage of its position. Exmoor is full of things to do, from flying hawks, horse riding, fly fishing, coasteering, walking, several zoos, kayaking, sea fishing to name but a few. Porlock is well stocked, with two supermarkets, hardware
