Then – 1986 and only 16 years old Now – 2022 and 36 years later Jamie Bourke began his real estate journey at age 16 in Tugun, on the southern Gold Coast. He would ride his push bike or catch the bus to his appointments and inspections, until he was old enough to have a driver’s licence and buy a car. In 1986 Jamie never imagined he would excel in the career that now sees him as one of the most respected property identities the industry has to offer. At age 23, Jamie bought the local Ray White office, before heading north to Surfers Paradise four years later where he was special projects manager at CBRE. Progressing onwards to Jamie acquired the LJ Hooker Surfers Paradise and Main Beach offices and had a staff of 70. First National Real Estate enticed Jamie to rebrand his group in 2002. Over the next 18 years, he owned and operated the Main Beach, Southport, Sorrento, Bundall, Benowa and Commercial offices. During the First National era, his office was the International Office of the Year 9 times, Commercial Office of the Year every year and personally, the Number One International Salesperson 11 times. He also holds the highest Sale record with the Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre at $76 million. With one of the strongest names in Gold Coast real estate, Jamie rebranded to his own name in March 2021.
