Dr. Bowers is a Cedar Rapids native and graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors at Western State College of Colorado in Professional Biology: Pre-Med emphasis and a minor in Chemistry and received his A.A. from Kirkwood Community College. He is a graduate of Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School as well. He was involved in football, basketball, track, and competition water/snow skiing. He is a past District President and Compliance Committee Chair of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), and a member of The American Chiropractic Association. He is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (C.C.E.P) and utilizers this in conjunction with active care and other aspects of a solid rehabilitative program. The techniques he uses in practice are Palmer Package including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, and Activator. He specializes in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. He is a past member of the Daybreak Rotary in Cedar Rapids and the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Board of Directors with His Hands-Free Medical Clinic and Healing Our Heroes. He has served as the Team Chiropractor for The Cedar Rapids Titans, Cedar Rapids Rampage, and Hard Drive MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). In his free time, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family. His hobbies are reading, travel, water/snow skiing, working out, biking, and playing golf. He likes to spend time on the water in Clear Lake, Iowa as much as possible and is a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Marion, Iowa.
