Boxwood Festivals

Boxwood shares and explores the roots and branches of musical traditions in a holistic approach that integrates music, dance, language and crafts in immersive programs for adults, kids and professionals. Our in-person programs have taken place for more the two decades in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and the UK as well as hybrid events and a variety of media including video and sound recordings. Boxwood has enriched a world-wide, multi-generational community who are passionate about celebrating, investigating and developing a culture which has shared roots, right across the globe, winning awards and recognition from the Senate of Canada, The chancellors of Dalhousie University, and the Governor of Maryland among others. Boxwood is a non-profit educational organization in the USA and The Boxwood Festival Society is a non-profit organization in Canada.
