My name is Carolien Bronkhorst, and as a systems designer, my life is focused on one thing: the human dimension. I'm passionate about designing systems that work for people, not the other way around. I immediately see where imbalances lie and how a system disrupts harmony because I work deeply from my intuition and feeling. I gained this insight early in my career, from psychiatry to change management. I saw how the "paper reality" of rules and false security hindered the human core. I decided to stop relating to a system that doesn't work and started thinking about and designing alternative solutions. What sets me apart is my ability to translate abstract visions into tangible, working systems. I use my own simple thinking model, which I've refined over my 25-year career, to work with you to build a resilient life or organizational ecosystem. My personal journey to a 200-year-old Finca in southern Spain is the ultimate embodiment of my mission. It's my living laboratory, where I apply permaculture principles every day, from carefully building a new life to creating a meal from my own garden.
