With a highly edited vision and a strong hand, New York-based Interior Designer Brad Ford has developed a spare, modern aesthetic with a warm soul. Originally from Arkansas, he moved to Manhattan over 15 years ago and established his own firm in 1998 with an emphasis on residential spaces. His interiors showcase signature designs that are understated yet sophisticated, straightforward, elegant and functional. Balance, light, space and color factor into every design, creating a timeless effect. Whether the room is formal or casual, traditional or modern, accessibility and comfort are a must.” Ford holds a degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology as well as a degree in Business and Economics from Hendrix College. He honed his skills under such leading New York designers as Thad Hayes and the late Jed Johnson. In 2014, Ford created the event Field+Supply in the Hudson Valley. Field + Supply is a modern interpretation of a traditional arts and crafts fair. It consists of a carefully curated selection of makers highlighting goods, old and new, from a variety of studios and workshops representing a wide range of crafts. The fair takes place twice a year over Columbus Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend at the Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY. In 2019 Field+Supply expanded to include Spring MRKT a craft fair over Memorial Day weekend. In 2015, Ford opened the showroom FAIR, at the New York Design Center. FAIR represents makers and manufacturers from the New York area, west coast, Denmark and many other countries. FAIR has become a destination for designers looking for beautiful design and craftsmanship.
