Bratcher Winery

Our goal at Bratcher Winery is simple: to produce exceptional wines at premium values from the top vineyards in Santa Barbara County. Rather than spend a lot of money on new oak barrels, fancy packaging and expensive marketing, we prefer to focus our attention where it matters the most - in the vineyard. We’re certainly not the first to say that great wine is made in the vineyard, but we would rather spend our money growing the best grapes possible and working with growers who share our passion and commitment. We strive to produce elegant, yet intense wines with a laser-like precision that bring in to focus the unique qualities of Santa Maria Valley, Happy Canyon, and Sta. Rita Hills - without being pretentious or taking ourselves too seriously. The total production for Bratcher Winery is extremely small - in most years somewhere between 600 and 800 cases.
