We are Brave and Curious. Together, we make connections and facilitate agency. We share co-design processes to set projects and teams onto paths of self-sufficiency. We are facilitators – we help make things happen. We listen and connect so that people and groups can move forward with an agreed plan or strategy. Our projects are socially driven and embedded with design expertise. Whatever the scenario we’re working in, we undertake all projects with an open process. We work with community and stakeholders via two-way listening and reciprocal knowledge sharing. Our inclusive process invites members of organisations, communities and cultural ventures to share learnings and join a process that changes existing conditions into preferred ones. At Brave and Curious, our services include- facilitation- engagement; and - spatial strategy. We are open We approach situations and projects with an open process rather than preconceived answers. We are upfront Together with the teams we work with, we like to help bring definition to the rules of the game before it all starts, so everyone’s clearer on what the framework and parameters are. We are a go-between We listen and connect to help people and groups make agreements before things happen. We are experienced Our methodology is tried and tested – over the years our team has developed the skills and intuition to navigate through many diverse project journeys. We are socially and ecologically driven We design holistically. Our team practices ‘more-than-human’ thinking by respecting the interconnectedness of all living beings, structures and systems. For us, design should be undertaken in a more-than-human environment, respecting people as well as the environment. We are brave and curious and kind We are brave (and not ego-driven), curious (and not heavy footed) and kind (and cranky when we need to be).
